Mobile Information Architecture (IA): the role IA to establish mobile communication and enrich user experience.
Q1. What is Mobile Information Architecture (IA)?
Find the definition of Mobile IA and understand their importance in mobile interface design. What constitutes it and does it spring from any traditional form?
Q2. What functions or tasks do the Mobile IAs perform and manage for their employers or what are their deliverables?
To look at what Mobile Information Architectures do and why we need them in the mobile world (digital world). Where does their function fit in the scheme of user experience (UX) design?
Q3. How do the mobile IAs perform their responsibilities?
To look at what aspects of user rich interaction design concepts do Mobile IAs focus on in terms of usability principles, business goals and technical constraints. And do they function individually or collaboratively.
Q4. How mobile IAs characterizes and prioritizes their responsibilities?
To find how the other members in the product team are fed by IAs and what exactly do they need from the IAs whether spreadsheet, a mock up or a wireframe.
Q5. How does Usability relate to IA in the mobile environments?
To look at what issues do the Mobile IAs address in terms of user interaction design or Human Computer Interaction (HCI) design.
Q6. What skills, degree or software knowledge are desired to become a Mobile IA?
To determine whether there are any essential qualifications for Mobile Information Architecture, as nothing is codified and the profession has different names associated with the same task at various places.
Q7. What goals of mobile users are considered for a positive online experience, while designing a mobile user interface?
To look at what user needs Information Architects (IAs) consider consequential, while designing sensitive and appropriate mobile user interface vis-à-vis a web interface. And how they can achieve them using the respective application?
Q8. Are mobile users’ contexts different from the contexts of the web users, if so, then how does that influence an interaction rich interface?
To what level mobile users’ contexts influence the Information Architecture for a user rich interaction. And does the context determine the m-site structure and content.
Q9. Is there any conventional design method employed for designing mobile user interaction interface?
To gauge what principles of design theory such as architectural programming and architectural planning are used in designing a mobile interface. What are the similarities and dissimilarities in applying them?
Q10. What and why are core competencies important to enrich user experience through interaction design in a mobile environment?
To find clarity and logic, so that the planned structure or map may anticipate hurdles and the user can smoothly flow from one piece of information to the next in the m-site, in the process of design and its final execution.
